I came across an interesting article on MSN. It was about rebuilding and rehabbing an existing property.

But the article posed an interesting question that got me thinking: is it even worth it?

Builders of Hope say you’re saving a piece of culture and a piece of the community which when you rehab or rebuild a home rather than tear it down. I think that’s enough reason to fix up a property right there.

Some organizations give out loans to home buyers if they agree to rehabilitate a historical property. However, in order to receive the loan, it must be financial sound to make the renovations. But you’ll discuss that with your bank.
